These guest posting sites have had their metrics updated as of 11/23/23. Just because a website has high DR and some traffic does not automatically mean it is a quality site. Oftentimes, they might be a well-engineered farm site.
How to Avoid Guest Posting Farm Site
Take a look at the last ten publications of the blog in question. How many of them are guest posts?
Is it only one? Maybe a couple? None? Then, it’s likely a real site maintained by real bloggers. If something more than half or even all of them are guest posts, you know it’s a glorified PBN.
Take a look at the site’s traffic with Ahrefs. Is it low?
Is the homepage its blog page?
Does it have a “Write For Us” page?
Are the blog authors’ names not mentioned?
Is the site’s logo the most generic thing you’ve seen all day?
Are there several unrelated categories in the menu?
If the answer to all or most of these questions is “yes”, then it’s extremely likely that you are looking at a guest post farm. Here’s a typical site that violates just about everything I mentioned.
